PURGO has unique surgical implant devices for sustained, targeted, local drug delivery. The problem we are solving is well documented: Disease starts local, yet standard treatment is often systemic drug delivery which has well-established limitations, drawbacks and side-effects. PURGO Surgical has developed a SOLUTION: an FDA Breakthrough Device Designated product platform to advance localized drug delivery to eliminate the limitations of systemic drug delivery in multiple clinical indications. We have proven success in delivering antibiotics to manage infections and our product has great promise for localized cancer therapeutic delivery to overcome the inefficiencies, toxicity, dosing issues and side-effects of systemic drug delivery in oncology applications.
